the one screenwriting credit is because it combines the names of the two actors playing the writers - Giovanni Ribisi and Lukas Haas.

Don't you think Charlize Theron would be somewhere on the poster and definitely have her name above the title though? And certainly before Vinny's.

Dana Gordon no longer works for Alan Gray.

He fired her after she told Ari that Alan didn't plan on really making the Ramones story.

In all honest I was just thumb-sucking names by that point. Alan Grey wouldn't technically be the EP on the movie either, he's just the head of the studio.

Let me see what I can do for Benji Goes To Alaska... Maybe Benji accidently gets on Sarah Palin's flight by accident?

The poster has multiple mistakes. Smoke jumpers are wildland firefighters and both actors are wearing city firefighter gear which is heavier. Also they don't have air tanks. Smoke jumpers fight forest fire in remote areas and would rarely if ever fight a house fire. Smoker jumpers are federal wildland firefighters and since it is such a specialized field, it is unlikely to be done by city firefighters which thier uniforms sugest. Finally the "bambi bucket" on the helicopter is positioned too far back. They need a real firefighter expert to avoid such obvious mistakes.

december 16th is on a tuesday. most movies come out on fridays. occasionally wednesdays.

tagline doesn't work bcuz it doesnt seem to relate to the storyline. in the "unlike a virgin" episode of entourage, the pitch eric gave to ari was that Smokejumpers was about "...9 firefighters on the night before the biggest fire they ever fought." Before the script was renamed, it was "9 Brave Souls." That said, the tag could be "NINE BRAVE SOULS UP IN SMOKE" or "FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE" or "NINE BRAVE SOULS EXTINGUISH HELL" or "ENGULFED IN HELL" something like that.

no female appeal? for a male-dominated field like smoke jumping/fire fighting, the ad execs would most likely sex up charlize's character on this poster to get men to bring their ladies.

Also, Vince being a second, third-billed actor would be offset in the background or not in the ad copy at all.

Jesus, you guys nitpick much? This is a fan poster. Chill out.

I hate to jump on the nitpicking bandwagon, but I noticed that Steve Buscemi's name is misspelled. It's still a great fake poster, though!

VinGold, nice try on the callout, but Dana Gordon is the head of the studio. She replaced Alan after he died of a heart attack and Ari pushed for her to get the job after passing himself and keeping it out of Amanda's hands.

The poster is a good make. The reference to both Alan and Dana is clever. If this were reality, it would be most likely to give Alan Gray a legacy "in memorandum" type of recognition, while also crediting the new head of studio Dana Gordon.
